MIDI-OX for Android tablet?

Hi All, Sorry if this topic has been posted elsewhere. I'm getting into MIDI-OX on PC and find it a really useful program. I want something more portable that I can remotely Program Change a sound module with and map the data being sent on different channels etc. Is there any sort of MIDI-OX that can work on an Android tablet? Thanks, Gareth

Hi Gareth, If you want to use Android you will have to get a Midi interface or use a wireless router system. Google "Android Midi controllers" and trawl through all the stuff that pops up. Or you can use a controller like Behringer's BCR2000 or BCF2000 or Novations offerings . In fact there are lots to choose from as far as hardware control is concerned. Or if you are a DIYer you can find this sort of stuff being done on Arduino All the best Royce

Hi Royce, I am currently using an iConnect MIO with the PC MIDI-OX. Is that what you mean for a MIDI interface? I was assuming that I could connect that to an Android tablet with an OTG adaptor. I'm using the MIO with a Roland Integra-7. This has wireless editor capability but only for iPAD and not MIDI mapping, as far as I know (I haven't got it to work yet). Thanks, Gareth
