Hi Im looking for one solution to send Chords from one Chordsequenc, but the change from one Chord to another Chord must be activate by foot pedal. I mean to send only the first chord and wait to the next chord for one command from foot pedal. Could you help me please ? Thanks Franz Mag

Hi Franz, what are you using to send the sequence of chords? Is it software or a piece of hardware equipment? Does the foot pedal trigger the change by MIDI or something else? Perhaps you can tell us what gear you are using to try and do this. Give as much detail as you can and I'll try and help. All the best Royce

| Hi Royce, thanks for your answer. I would like to tape or copy one sequence of chords from Score in one computersoftware , to save this and to send to the computer Interface MIDI Output but I don`t want to play automatically, because can`t play with the right hand continuously. (from hier go to KETRON MIDI In) I mean I play with the right hand one song and synchron with my right hand I put on the foot pedal and I send one MIDI command as toggle (I see this MIDI command syntax in the MIDI OX and type in the sequenc software as toggle). The Chords sequencer plays only the first chord and waits to the next chord for the MIDI command from foot pedal. Thank you, with regards Franz

Hi Franz I don't know "Score", but perhaps you can try it and see if it does. It works in the free MuseScore. https://musescore.org/en Write the chords in the score on a single stave. Select the top note of the first chord. Use the right cursor key to move to the next chord. This will sound the whole chord. You can make it output to Midi in the I/O section of the Edit / Preferences. Make sure you press the "Restart Audio and Midi Devices". I assume this is what you want, but with a foot pedal instead of the right cursor. To get the pedal (assuming it outputs Midi) to act as the right cursor key you can get Bome's Classic Midi Translator(free) https://www.bome.com/products/mtclassic It can do Midi to QWERTY keystroke conversion (I haven't tried, but I think it can convert to the cursor keys). I hope this helps All the best Royce

Hello Royce, thank you very much for your help. I am currently very busy, but I will send you a response if it worked or not, as soon as I tested it. Best regards Franz

Hi Royce, I have tried and it works as play, but if I select in the MuseScore the top note of the first chord doesn`t sound the whole chord, but only the top note of the chord. Do you have any idea to solve this problem in the MuseScore ? All the best Franz

I think you will need a rest, perhaps on a pickup bar, before the start of the piece. This will act a place to click (highlight) so the first chord is played when you press the cursor key. Royce
