Hello All the Yoke ports have disappeared - but Yoke control panel is still present in windows Control Panel. I have tried repairing, then uninstalling & reinstalling, but to no avail. Any ideas what's gone wrong ? It has been working fine for years ....

Hi my first question would be 'What has changed?' Win 10 updated ? DAW updated ? (What is the DAW?) Win 10 added a whole rewrite of Midi stuff. Not many DAW's decided to spend the many hours needed to the re-coding. This is also true of MidiOx /MidiYoke Cakewalk did. Reaper, I believe, didn't. Perhaps Cubase has now ? You might be able to get around this by using loopMidi instead. All the best Royce

Thanks Real shame as I've loved working with Midiox / yoke, and it has been a fundamental part of my 32 bit DAW (I also have a 64 bit Win 10 partition which doesn't use yoke/ox). I keep the 32 bit win 10 for some hardware reasons. Does Loop midi work in a similar way to yoke ? Can I just change the ports I've setup in several Midiox instances (which load at start up) from yoke to loopmidi ports ?

loopMidi works just like MidiYoke. I use both. You should be fine to just swap over things. Let me know if you have any problems. All the best Royce

| Thanks - so far so good (have replaced the yoke ports with loopmidi ports in the MidiOx profiles, and things are working again).
