Changing MIDI devices without restarting MIDI-OX?

I'm using MIDI-OX 7.0.2.372 on Windows 10.

I have an Input Monitor and an Output Monitor window open.

If I start MIDI-OX with one input device selected, events from that device will appear in the Input Window.

If I then select an output device, events will no longer display in the Input Monitor, or in the Output Monitor.

If I close MIDI-OX and restart it, then events will show in the Input Monitor and Output Monitor.

I haven't used MIDI-OX for a while, but I don't remember this as being the normal behavior in the past. Is there any way to "reset" the devices to restore operation, other than restarting the application?

Hi
"If I start MIDI-OX with one input device selected, events from that device will appear in the Input Window.  "
Is "with one input device selected" means  Midi device enabled in Options/Midi Devices... ?
Data from any and all enabled input devices are displayed.

"If I then select an output device, events will no longer display in the Input Monitor, or in the Output Monitor. "
Tried this and it doesn't happen for me.
I can join inputs to outputs. Disable either an input or an output and MidiOx just breaks the link and keeps on going.
If I re-enable the device MidiOx even restores the previous connection and everything works.

My PC is Win 7 64bit

I think I need more details of what's breaking.

All the best
Royce

Correct, one device enabled in Options/Midi Devices from the previous run of MIDI-OX. I'm trying the simplest case.
Start MIDI-OX with Korg driver enabled for input, and nothing for Output. Enable an output device. Input stops working until MIDI-OX is closed and restarted.

So it could be related to the Korg driver that is causing 32/64 bit issues in my other question.

I'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with a 32/64bit issue, but it more likely it is something to do with the new MS MIDI API trying to handle calls to its old MIDI API.

You are the first person with this problem to mentioned it here and I am unable to duplicate it.

Korg drivers are usually pretty good. What is the Korg hardware you are using?
