Vanbasco is an application that outputs Midi and MidiOx reads what MIDI is coming in to the PC. So to see what Vanbasco is doing either... Connect with a cable the Midi Out Port connected to Vanbasco on your Midi interface (the cable you sound module is normally connected to) to a Midi In on a Midi interface that is displayed in MidiOx (to set this up goto Options / Midi Devices) Playing Vanbasco, you should see the Midi data displayed in the Midi Input window in MidiOx. or Install Midi Yoke or loopMidi (free from the web - there are others). They are Midi drivers but don't connect to external hardware. You can think of them as software Midi Cables So if you install loopMidi... 1) On Vanbasco make the Midi output port loopMidi 2) In MidiOx go to Options / Midi Devices and select loopMidi input and loopMidi Output (both ends of the software cable) 3) Play Vanbasco and you should see data coming in to the Midi Input window from the loopMidi port. Vanbasco (in PC) ->loopMidi -----> MidiOx To play a synth and watch the data.... Goto the MIDI Port Routing window in MiidiOx and drag the loopMidi Input (left side) to the Midi Out connected to your sound module (on the right side) Vanbasco (in PC) ->loopMidi ----> MidiOx ---> Synth Hope this helps. Post again if you have any more questions All the best Royce
