I suppose it is some kind of maping Is there any way to do this in Cubase ? Or any other way ? Please note there are plenty of synths feauturing knobs transmittting MIDI messages.In fact one of my other synths ,also  sports knobs.For example EMUs Audity2000 ,PlanetEarth,XtremeLead all have 4 knobs with 3 modes.EMUs Proteus 2500 have 12(?).   Imagine using an 8 or 12 knobs synth as MIDI remote .....   Any idea..? IP Logged Jamie OConnell Administrator     Gender: Posts: 2027 Re: Knob mapping « Reply #1 on: Feb 17th, 2002, 10:57pm » Quote Modify Unless I am misunderstanding (and that is possible), MIDI-OX already has this capability.  "Volume" Code ID's are just "Control Change" 7 messages.  So to map another controller to volume you would just map it to control change 7.  I think a lot of users are already using MIDI-OX for this type of mapping function, but yes, it is cool  .   I don't know if Cubase can do this sort of thing, but using MIDI Yoke (or another Virtual Port), you can map the data before it reaches Cubase or the VST.   IP Logged --Jamie Music is its own reward.
