Broader support for pitch notation systems

Hi, Here's a thing that I have been thinking about for a long time, but I haven't considered it important enough to point out, because I have thought that it doesn't hurt to learn to perform the conversions between different pitch notation systems. MIDI-OX gives the option to choose between the numbers 3 - 6 to indicate the first octave (i.e. Middle C octave), but it doesn't support the negative octave numbers that come into existence when Middle C octave is set to 3 (used by e.g. Yamaha, midi notes 0 - 23 belong to negative octaves) or 4 (International Pitch Notation, midi notes 0 - 11 would belong to a negative octave). The thing is that setting Middle C octave to 3 makes sense when you are using a 4- or 5-octave keyboard, where Middle C is the third C on the keyboard in standard position. Do you think you could add negative octave number support to MIDI-OX? Would make life clearer… Those who are interested can find a simple conversion table at: http://good2c.tripod.com/mox/pn-sys.htm

I'm not sure I ever realized that limitation -- I never had keyboards that could go that low. It could be construed as a bug. I'll look into it. [Later...] This is now fixed and enhanced in BETA 3 (6.4.5).
