Suggestion to patch map

Patch Map is one of the best things that can do MIDI-OX, it really help me to much.

My suggestion is to add more than one patch file (oxm) to every patch number like this:

NUM      Map Location      Port Map Presset
9          xxx.oxm              port1
9          yyy.oxm             port2
...         ....                       ...

and so on

Why?

because in that way I can program one OXM to use with FM 7, other to use with virsyn, other for gigaStudio, etc. because each one are using one MIDI Yoke I and gigaStudio and virsyn each one can control more than one midi channel so in that way I can fully control each one.

I hope you understood it, and sorry for my english.

Thanks.

Your english is fine -- better than a lot of native speakers  Wink

I believe you're requesting Patchmap Presets? You could select from a list of Patchmap sets to make a different group active.

I'll add it to the list...

[Later...]
After looking, I see we already have most of the capability you are asking for, I think.  We allow [Save] of Patch sets and [Load] of previously saved ones.  They are stored as .PMI files.  You could create a different .PMI for each instrument: FM7.pmi, virsyn.pmi, giga.pmi...

Is this good enough?
