Good day,
Thanks for the great Desktop Icon restore app. I especially ove the command line version. It save me a ton of trouble especially when an RDC changes all the icons around.

I hoping you are taking requests :-)
I was wondering if it was possible to add a command line option to save all writes/config/etc for the command line tool to an INI file rather than the registry. If I can keep it "portable" like that, I can run in on various cloned and p2v'ed systems that have the same desktop icon config and script things out so it saves and restores based on how I'm using them.

Are you referring to the...
/f "Path.dtr"
Use the named file for save or restore. Quote "path.dtr" if it contains embedded spaces.

...switch in the version dated Dec 06, 2009?

Yes. The file extension .DTR is only a recommendation -- it is in .INI file format.
