Title: Remove from XP Post by Lou_Sander on May 11th, 2011, 9:35pm I had a video card failure (and maybe more). The failed card is for two monitors. The replacement is for one. My computer works fine now, except for Windows Explorer, which crashes every time I use it. I want to rule out your program as a cause or continuing factor (in case, for example, the computer is trying to display icons on a two-screen desktop). Is there a way I can disable and/or remove your program from my system? BTW, it is a wonderful program! |

Title: Re: Remove from XP Post by Lou_Sander on May 17th, 2011, 11:47am I've fixed the Windows Explorer problem by cleaning up my Registry. There's still an icon problem, however: programs that formerly displayed in Restore mode on screen 2 no longer display in restore mode at all. I'm guessing that the computer is trying to display them on the non-existent screen. HELP! |

Title: Re: Remove from XP Post by Jamie OConnell on Jun 13th, 2011, 10:15pm First, the easiest way to remove Desktop Restore is with Add/Remove programs... Second you can always get all icons back by right-clicking on the screen and choosing "Arrange Icons By => Auto Arrange". Then go back in and turn auto arrange off (you usually don't want it on). |
