Title: Re: Windows 11 Support Post by Jamie OConnell on Nov 23rd, 2021, 10:41am I can not upgrade my machine to Windows 11, so I can't determine what'll work or not. The command line version should operate properly as it does not require hosting on the context menu. ------------------ Supposedly in Win 11: “Show more options” loads the Windows 10 context menu as-is for access to low-use Shell verbs and apps still working on porting over. No commands have been removed entirely. Shift-F10 or the keyboard menu key will also load the Windows 10 context menu. ----------------- Does this work? |

Title: Re: Windows 11 Support Post by bkj007 on Aug 6th, 2022, 1:21pm I have used your DIS&R on all my machines for years. They are all now W11 where it does not execute properly. Please consider creating a W11 version. Donation basis if necessary...I would...gladly! - bkj007 |

Title: Re: Windows 11 Support Post by Alex on Aug 27th, 2022, 5:31am Desktop Restore is working fine for me on Windows 11. As mentioned above, to call up the full Windows context menu you have to hit Shift-F10, then all works as it did before (for me, anyway). Alex |

Title: Re: Windows 11 Support Post by AndyMac on Sep 14th, 2022, 2:48am Would be really nice to have an update to include support for the new Context Menu for Windows 11. Many free and smaller utilities like Mp3tag (as well as paid for utilities) have now added this, so would be great if this could be added for Desktop Icon Save and Restore :-) |

1. Plz prepare USB drive 32/64GB. 2. Download official Windows 11 ISO english (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows11) 3. Install Hasleo WinToUSB (https://www.easyuefi.com/wintousb/) 4. Use it to create USB drive for Windows 11 (check "Bypass Windows 11 system requirements), (use "MBR for BIOS" partition scheme if you have old PC, "GPT for UEFI" for new PC) 5. Boot from the made USB drive and reinstall Windows 11 as clean install. OR Just Upgrade the system using setup on USB drive, it'll bypass all checks. |
