I am trying to install a new software update on a Line 6 M13 (a guitar effects pedal). The instructions told me to download this program, which I did. However when I try to open it I get an error message and it say that it needs to shut down (followed by "send an error report to Microsoft" options).

I deleted the program and tried again, but no go... Does anyone know what I might have done wrong?

I'm not really good with computers, just the basics. And I'm using a PC with Windows XP. It's a nice computer though.
