Hi

I just found this program, Its great. Im trying to sync a old fashind 8mm movie projektor with audio from Cubase. I have al ready wrote a program in VB.Net and Im able to count pictures from the projektor. Now I need a interface for Cubase and I was planing to use MTC. Is there some way to call MIDI-OX COM component to send a MTC time code? Any help or even sample code would be great!

In first place, sorry my english.
For sync, you need a Master and a Slave.

If your projektor can be slaved (rare if it's old), is more than easy ... because secuencers generates various sync types ...

If not:
Record (if you can) smpte in audio track (in the film)
(smpte is audio)
Then, when the film runs, send the recorded smpte to a sync device that converts smpte in mtc (mtc is a real time event), and send the mtc to the computer

Some interfaces read smpte directly, in Cubase too (like all Secuencers)
