Excel has a function RTD which gets external input from a real time server. The server takes care of updating the value.
So we could have the last MIDI event triggered by a keyboard
in an Excel cell.
This is implemented by a special type of ActiveX DLL,
an RTD server. Has anybody experimented with such a beast.
Could the MIDIOX developers be interested in adding this
kind of functionality to MIDIOX?
