So I found out how to translate my midi buttons on my AKAI APC key 25 to work with performance mode and I was wondering where I can start to at least press the button on and stay on until I press it again.

It has multiple colors on each performance button and it would be cool to have it if I have a pattern on it it would light up one color, play it and have another color. If I delete the pattern, it would turn off. But i know that needs fl integration.
At least if I can press it to turn on and then press it again to turn off like, basic.

Also, how far can I go with that? Can I have like a standby light animation and when i use it, it would go "normal"

Irrelevant question just to get it out of my head, is there a cc for a record button to map the record button? I havent found it looking around.

I would think that these questions are probably best answered by expert users of the Akai APC key 25.
Google to get a link to any of the forums on the APC.

There are some folks here that might be able to help, but your quickest answers will probably come from an Akai forum.
