Title: problem w/ install not already addressed here Post by anon on Jun 9th, 2005, 11:57am Hi, I'm having a problem with installing MIDI Yoke NT on w2k sp4. It is similar to the problem described here: http://www.midiox.com/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.pl?board=MYInstall;action=display;num=1094389551 I'm getting the same message saying that an error occurred during installation and that the file could not be found. However, I am doing a bare bones installation and the registry entries for midi through midi9 are clean, rendering the common solution for this problem (found at http://www.rme-audio.de/english/faq/10entrye.htm) inadequate. Do you have any idea what else could be causing this issue? Thanks for any help you can provide. |

Title: Re: problem w/ install not already addressed here Post by Jamie OConnell on Jun 10th, 2005, 2:45pm Ensure that the folder displayed by Win 2000 is the SAME folder you uninstalled the myokent.dll driver and oemsetup.inf to. Win 2000 may try to switch you to a different folder -- don't let it: navigate back to where you unzipped them to. Did you try following the steps in the pictorial? Which step was different? http://www.midiox.com/midiyoke_inst2k.htm |
