I installed MIDI Yoke 1.71 on my new ASUS V1S Laptop/WinXP SP2. After installation the PC hangs in boot rigth before the "Login" window should appear. I had to reinstall windows - and being optimistic and not quite convinced that it was MIDI Yoke I tried again -Same thing happens. Strange - I've installed it on several other laptops without any problems. I am a bit reluctant to try with a new version of MIDI Yoke as I have to go back to the PC shop every ttime to get a fresh Windows installation....or could someone confirm that a newer version will help?

Well that's unfortunate, but it is not the MIDI Yoke driver causing it: its an incompatibility in the installation. It has affected a small number of users. Check this thread for more details and workarounds:
