Title: windows MIDI ports Post by spaceharp on Oct 15th, 2012, 8:45pm what is the best way to completely wipe all windows XP 32-bit OS's MIDI ports.. ie all unconnected devices, all corrupted ports, etc? ports got corrupted.. ouch !! |

Navigate to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Drivers32 Locate all the values beginning with "MIDI" followed by a number (ex: MIDI1, MIDI2, ... MIDI9), Note what the value is (.DLL or .Sys) and path (write tehm down). Delete the MIDIn values. Reboot. Navigate to: “C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32” and delete the .DLLs and/or .SYS referenced above. Navigate to: C:\Windows and delete MYOKENT.INI |
