HI folks:

I am totally new to this midi mapping stuff. I am thinking of purchasing a used yamaha DX7 "s" model to use as a midi controller.

Anyone have experience mapping this keyboard's midi controls? I am trying to find out if I can map the velocity wheel, slider control, and any other buttons the DX7 has..to do program/patch changes.

I am not sure what MIDI data the DX7 emits for it's controls, but all standard MIDI messages can be remapped using MIDI-OX.
