Hi,

My drummer friend has a yamaha dd-55 percussion unit, which he bought a few years back. Before that, he got a dd-50, this older unit works well on a computer with music software (Sonar), but the dd-55 patch change midi message is different: we cannot change patches through the DD-55, we get just get strange and useless sounds. This is really a drag. Since my friend bougth the thing, I've spent hours trying to make it work, but today I am very hopeful that MIDI-OX can help me (very nice software!), but I need some help (please!), all my attempts have failed.

Try sending it the Program change on Channel 10. Try sending it a Bank Message preceeding the Patch change:

Send CC:0 - value 0
Send CC:32 - value 0
Send Patch #
