Hi from France (yeah, we have Midi too... ;) )
Problem : Duron 800 proc, 256 Meg RAM, Creative AudioPCI 128, Cool Edit Pro 2, a Miditech Midistart-2 USB midi keyboard.
When using Midi-OX alone, it works : I can change the sounds,
release, etc, with Midi-OX, and I can hear the sound. Even during one hour. :D
When using Midi-OX AND a software recorder (even Windows Recorder or Cool Edit, recording with "Mixed output" selected on Windows mixer), it works during about 20 seconds, then crackles, then cut, then crackles again...at end, keyboard inputs are inverted : no sound when pressing a key, and a sound when releasing it... :(
And the only way I found is to reboot...
I tried to change Midi-OX buffers size...same problem...
HELP, I need somebody, Help, ....

I found it ! --> don't use USB port with midi keyboard...works well with creative Midi input...
