Is anyone aware of a way to capture the PC keystrokes from another program's window [ie, not MIDI-OX] as MIDI events?

I use a software package for real time VJ work and I'm trying to find a way to record the keypresses into a MIDI sequencer for editing and playback. The VJ program has limited MIDI input implementation already, but there are some PC keys that are not accessible through MIDI and need to be captured in another way.

My apologies if this topic has been covered elsewhere. I've not been able to locate anything on it.
