Title: Juno 106 SysEx
Post by midnitesoulhammer on Oct 24th, 2005, 12:14pm
My DW8000 is working quite well dumping sysex to and fro.
I also own a Juno 106 and would like to do the same.
I have been successful in loading the factory presets on both keyboards via wav. but I would like to back up the Juno with a sysex file like the DW8000.I can get the Juno to send and recieve data, but I can seem to be able to store the data correctly.
Any ( semi-detailed ) help would be greatly appreciated.

( some Juno 106 sysex patch banks would be cool too ;)

Thanks,
Dwayne

Via WAV???  I don't think that's possible -- you must mean via MIDI?

You can't store the data correctly, where?  In MIDI-OX or in the Juno?

I used wav files to initially restore the factory patches on both the DW800 and Juno 106.
I later came across the Midi-OX program and then was able to send and recieve sysex messages to and from the DW8000.
I've tried to use it (midi-ox) with my Juno 106 to store the factory patches (and to possibly load other patch banks to the Juno), but it doesn't seem to be working correctly.
I'm sending messages to and from both the keyboard and program but I'm getting hung up on sending correct sysex info from my Juno.
Another words I cannot save my Juno 106 patch banks to Midi-OX.
Please help.
Thank you for your time.
Dwayne
