I'm new to midi!!! I have XP OS...I'm using Midi Ox with Midi Sport 1x1 interface. I'm trying to send a update to my Fractal Ultra. Midi Ox Sends with all activity showing on meters. I've set the buffers according to Fractal read me that came with the update file. When I connect the USB cable to the Interface it is recognized by the PC and the USB activity lite flickers. I start my Fractal Unit and it says Awaiting File. I load sysex file in Midi Ox and do a send. All indications are that the file is being sent. Progress bar advances. My problem is that no information is being sent thru the interface. the Output lite does not come on and I get no progress bar signal at the Fractal unit. I'm sure this is a foul up on my part but I have read the manual looked at the forums of all systems involved and I'm spinning my wheels. Please help a newbie with what I'm sure is a simple fix for a Midi Ox user.
