Title: Mapping the Tenori-On Post by petervh on Dec 8th, 2011, 6:48pm Greetings, With the new 2.1 firmware for the Yamaha Tenori-On, a new 'remote' mode has been implemented, which allows remote devices to control when lights are turned on or off on the 256 button grid. In remote mode, the Tenori-On sends and recieves only sysex messages. I would like to remap those messages into midi CC commands. I find myself a bit overwhelmed by Midi-Ox thus far. Could someone please guide me a little here? The sysex message for turning the top left (first) light on is: F0 43 73 01 33 01 00 06 00 00 00 00 00 F7 So I click on the 'MIDI Data Mapping Transforms' button, and I'm brought to a new window. I select INSERT, but now I'm lost as to which event type to chose (I see no option for sysex, do I use NRPN?). Also I see no way available to drop in the above message. Best, p. |
