Hi folks,

I'm trying to make my mpk88 send its data increment/decrement nrpns to midi-ox, and then have midi-ox translate those into normal cc messages.

For some reason, no matter what I set the nrpn to in the first half of a mapping, it doesn't filter the actual increment/decrement message and it doesn't output the cc message I want.

*EDIT: I know that the NRPN number should be 8194, but this just illustrates even if it isn't, the first 2 messages as well as the null messages (last 2) get filtered out regardless of what you set for the NRPN number.

I think it's just a matter of getting MIDI-OX to recognize the NRPNs my mpk88 encoder is sending to it.

Can anyone help me figure this out?

*Note i can change the channel, msb and lsb that the encoder sends*

update:

I was able to get this process to work in Bome's Midi translator pro so I know it's doable.

However, I'd much prefer to use midi-ox for this because bomes requires some roundabout conditional scripting to work with the NRPNs.

I think the problem is no one really knows how the program uses NRPN increment/decrement messages. Maybe an update in the documentation would help.

Still hoping someone out there can figure out what's wrong.
