Title: Map a Split to Oblivion Post by sj1 on Jul 28th, 2018, 3:19pm Hi, I'd like to map (or filter) the upper split of a keyboard to oblivion (IOW, filter it out.) Currently I see I can filter out a whole channel (but not a key range within a channel), or I can Map a key range within a channel to a different channel (helpful, but still sends output on the target channel when I would rather not do so). Is it possible to do what I'm aiming for? If so how? Thanks! |

Title: Re: Map a Split to Oblivion Post by Breath on Jul 28th, 2018, 9:36pm Hi sj1, Options / Data Mapping ... If the CLEAR button can be pressed then click it Click the INSERT button for a new line When output matches.... Channel = 1-16 or Any Event type = Note On : Note # Min = split point Max = 127 Velocity Min = -1 Max = -1 (-1 = any value) Set output to.... Just make the Event Type = Discard Press OK Don't forget to Check the 'Turn Map On' next to the OK button in the Data Mapping window. You can then route the Midi In of your keyboard to .... some Midi out in the Midi Port Routing Window (View / Port Routings...) All the best Royce |
