Hi All, Is MidiOX the right program to allow me to intercept midi CC/NRPN messages from a controller such as X Touch (Mackie) and convert the midi data to a new value before reaching my DAW (Cubase 11 Pro). I expect it may also have to work vice versa?
I want to basically reprogram the functions of the controller as the standard Mackie dont make perfect sense to me. If anyone has already achievd this I would appreciate any advice. I know there are other ways of doing this with PureData but this seems a lot easier?

Yes
You need to go to Options/ Data Mapping....
Down the bottom of the first window are some boxes about NRPN.

You can INSERT one or many lines (mapping one Midi message to another)

In each line (map) you type in the incoming Midi data you want to change and what you want it to change to.
'-1' means "any value"
