I don't have Reason, but I'm going to guess that you mean how to use MIDI Yoke with Reason.  I encourage anyone who has Reason and MIDI Yoke to respond.

I use it (Reason + Cubase + Midi-ox + MidiYoke at the same time), and it works great.

I let all applications except midi-ox talk to the MidiYoke drivers only. In midi-ox I can monitor or adjust incoming (or outgoing) midi data.

I use three MidiYoke ports; two for input (one instance of Midi-ox maps my midi-in to MY-1 and MY-2) and one for output (a second instance of midi-ox maps MY-3 to my midi-out).

Cheers, Dave

I use midi yoke, Cubase5r6 and Reason1.0 together, and in real-time performance, it works really splendid!

However, I have encountered a problem with export that I hope some of you may have encountered, too ... and hopefully have found a workaround to it.

I posted that on the main midiyoke forum, so here's a link to my problem:

Ok, here's the set up:

1-in Reason, go to Menu > Edit > Preferences
2-in the preferences dialog box choose the MIDI page with the scrolling menu at the top of this dialog box
3-at the bottom of the midi page you'll see "Miscellaneous" and Midi clock
4 in this menu choose MIDIYOKE Junction ( this supposed you've installed MidiYoke: for this see this website)
5- close this dialog box
6- Reason > Menu > Options : choose Midi Clock Sync
7-in MidiOx choose " send midiclock"
8 Now Reason is synchronized to MidiOx via MidiYoke
When you "start" in MidiOx ,Reason ( and other devices connected) will Start the GooD MusiC...

BôÔM...bÔôm...

Hope this is clear

I just wanted to tell you I think you have a sharp looking setup. I'd be interested in chatting with you about what you're goals are musically & what you might have that I can take a listen too! I'm in NC on the coast gearing up to shoot a bunch of my latest tunes & I'm interested in throwing down some chops with qualified players available. Get up with me if you can!
