i recently bought the ea-1 korg synthesizer and I cannot
get the thing to work through the computer.
I enable it in the control panel , multimedia settings but
still won't work.  Do I have to have a special midi cable?
I have one that goes from the gameport and converts to a
midi 5 den.   Please help!!

Do any devices show up in MIDI-OX Options | MIDI Devices...?  If they do, select the MIDI interface input and OK to close the dialog.  Play some notes on the keyboard.  Do they show up in the monitor?
