How the heck do you get cool edit pro to record from the midi keyboard. My midisport indicates the data stream is getting there but no recording shown? I don't have this problem with Fruity loops.

I believe FruityLoops will record MIDI, but Cool edit is an digital audio-only recorder, as far as I know. So... you hook up your synth audio outputs to your sound card line in jack.
