Title: Yamaha CueTime Technology
Post by Rol on Oct 23rd, 2002, 5:42am
I´m playing a Yamaha Midi piano with CueTime technology. This feature enables the user to playing his own tempo while the sequencer/accompaniment is waiting until some specified key notes have been played. This is perfect for learning a new song or giving the song a real tempo feeling.
In Germany there is no sheet-music/software available for that feature. Do you have any information or specification how to adapt or enhance standard midi files for usage with that function? I´d like to develop a standard solution.
I would be grateful to hearing from you.
Yours, Roland

I have not heard of this technology, but it sounds familiar to a product that Cakewalk used to market: In Concert.  I recommend that you contact Yamaha, Roland.

Thanks for your reply. Do you have any contact with Yamaha (I´ve read Yamaha uses your library)? Up to now I have not been able to find any contact person of Yamaha who knows an answer on my question. Thereby I found your forum.
Thanks,
Roland
