Title: IS THERE A VST HOST THAT LETS YOU SET MIDI CHANNEL Post by snuffmaximus on Jan 10th, 2005, 3:55pm I've tried quite a few now, Chainer(Crasher) being the last. I haven't written a song since getting involved with PC based stuff. Back to Trition I guess, at least I can start writing 15 seconds after hitting the power button, later...maybe a nice game of solitaire on windows. |

Title: Re: IS THERE A VST HOST THAT LETS YOU SET MIDI CHA Post by vst casualty on Feb 12th, 2005, 9:36pm There is a way, see the posting http://forum.hermannseib.com/viewtopic.php?t=38&sid=bcd186ac23a158a5ff91ea41d7a2844c Also it is necessary to install a new MIDI driver with Windows XP, that along with VST-HOST and MIDI-OX allows me to play mulltiple VSTi's in realtime. Setting up MIDI-OX is a bit of a learning curve, I was boggled for months until I clicked on the tiny little square box connecting the ports together in the "route 66" window. I didn't see what was so great about MIDI-OX, especially the way you read everyone go on about it...until I figured this out. I'm adding an extra monitor above my workstation just to view MIDI-OX, it takes the guessing out of everything at a glance. Hermann Seib is my new favorite person of all time. |
