Converting a midi not to cc

hi im trying this in midi ox witht he translation map.

channel = 1 | msg type = note on | note number = any | value = any
output
channel = 1 | msg type = ctrl | cc number = 24 | value = any

i have it this way to map my keyboard to a button in a vsti.

the first time i press a  key it works but i also have 3 oher map entries to different ccs and if i try to press one to a different cc it stops working. can you give me a clu to what im foing wrong or if i even am?

Make sure you have
[ ] Pass on original value (Clone)
checked "[X]" on the input side of the data mapping line.

i just tried that and i still get the same result. isnt that only necessary when you are stringing more than one message together?

i have one message for each channel that i want the keyboard to trigger.

You probably want to be more specific about which note should trigger CC24, expecially if you have other mappings, as you indicate.  Try using Middle C (Note# = 60).  Do NOT map Note On with velocity 0 -- it is interpreted by all gear as a Note OFF.  Instead of "any value", use a value of 1 - 127 (not 0 - 127).
