Title: Sysex no buffers available error Post by hnewman on Dec 20th, 2019, 8:59am Hello, I am suddenly getting this error when trying to send a sysex dump to my device. I can still send sysex from the device to midi-ox without issue, it's just sending it back that is resulting in this error (and midi-ox freezes). It has been working fine for a long time and I did not make any configuration changes anywhere. Please advise how to troubleshoot this problem. |

Title: Re: Sysex no buffers available error Post by Breath on Dec 20th, 2019, 7:23pm Hi This error usually shows up when the MS Class Compliant drivers are used. They are single client drivers and if you start another program, like your DAW, when you start MidiOx and try to use it this pops up. Reboot your PC and only load MidiOx and try it. If it is OK then a single client Midi driver is the problem. FIX: different Midi interface with the manufactures driver OR Install MidiYoke or loopMidi Start MidiOx before any other Midi programs, Connect it's MidiIn to MidiYoke1 or loopMidi in the MidiOx Port Routing window. Connect MidiYoke2 or loopMidi1 to it's MidiOut - this will result in the Midi input and output changing from single client to multi-client. Use MidiYoke1 (or loopMidi) as your input to the other Midi program Use MidiYoke2 (or loopMidi1) as your output from the other Midi program If MidiOx or the other Midi program still complains then it is likely the setting for the buffers is inadequate. Select View/Sysex.. and on the new dialog select Sysex /Configure... Let me know how you get on. All the best Royce |
