Hello,

I need to record the MIDI events coming from a MIDI controller I have plugged into my PC via USB. MIDI-OX used to be able to record these events in the Output Monitor window but for some reason it has stopped doing that. When I turn on the Keyboard and play notes that way, it does record them properly in the Monitor window so it IS working, just not with MIDI incoming from other sources.

Please help!

Here is some of the text from the MidiOx help "Recording Text"
"The MIDI to text formatting option saves received MIDI data in a format which is directly compatible with Piet Van Oostrum’s T2MF program.
Check the MIDI-OX web site for program availability."

The only other mention of "Recording" is sending Midi messages converted to text to the Monitor windows.
You can turn this on and off using the Traffic Light in the tool bar or click on 'REC' in the status bar.

MidiOx will log all Midi events to a text file using File / Log menu option.

I have not know MidiOx to do any other recording other than these things.

There are many simple free Midi recording programs about. Let me know if you need help.
