Title: Non-Linear timestamps? Post by rjonkman on Nov 17th, 2021, 4:51am I'm trying to diagnose an issue with duplicate MIDI packets when sending large amounts of data. I'm sending 3 NoteOn messages followed by 3 NoteOff messages spaced about 1ms apart. You can see that one of the packets gets duplicated. Has anyone seen something like this before? Even more shocking is that the duplicated packet has the same timestamp as the original. http://www.audiofront.net/duplicate.png |

Title: Re: Non-Linear timestamps? Post by Breath on Nov 17th, 2021, 6:51pm Hi I could do with a bit more info about your set up. Is the data coming in from a keyboard/controller via USB? If yes, have you set it to send out on two Midi ports? If the data is comming out from a midi patch cable like MidiYoke or loopMidi from an application, is the input connected twice to the application? Tell me about the application/hardware setup and what you are trying to do. All the best Royce |

Title: Re: Non-Linear timestamps? Post by rjonkman on Nov 17th, 2021, 7:41pm Okay. I feel stupid. Here's a lesson. Don't ever take a screenshot while the window is repainting its view. So the timestamp wierdness is a red herring. Sorry. But while I've got your attention, can I request being able to scroll the input monitor using mouse wheel. |
