Title: Can I use Midiox to snoop the sysex of another app Post by cappy2112 on Apr 14th, 2025, 7:17pm I want to see the sysex command another application is sending to my synth, in order to debug that application. I thought I could used Midiox as a midi analyzer for that, but I'm not able to make that work. Do I need Midiyoke for this? Does Midiyoke even work on Windows 11 Pro? Thanks |

Install loopMIDI. Start you application and make the Midi output 'loopMIDI Port' Start MidiOx and goto menu Options / Midi Devices and select 'loopMIDI Port' as a Midi Input an press OK Now when you application outputs the sysex into loopMidi Port it will be displayed in MidiOx. Hope that helps Royce |

Thanks Royce. Is loop midi from the same author of midiox? I haven't heard of it before |

Title: Re: Can I use Midiox to snoop the sysex of another Post by Breath on Apr 17th, 2025, 12:57am No, Midi Yoke is the 32bit driver written by Jamie OConnell who also wrote MidiOx. LoopMIDI is similar to MidiYoke, but there is a 32 and a 64bit version of loopMIDI to match your version of Windows. loopMIDI is by Tobias Erichsen who is a much respected member of the Midi community. He even has his own Sysex Manufacturer number 00H 20H 77H You will find what you need here... https://www.tobias-erichsen.de/software/loopmidi.html All the best Royce |
