Title: doing a data dump to a lexicon mpx G2 Post by onelesspaul on Sep 5th, 2001, 1:05am I am having trouble doing a midi system exclusive dump. I have tha data dumped in tha midi-ox software and saved as an .syx file. My problem is when I try to send it back to the G2 it won't go there the guy's at lexicon couldn't figure it out either. I could see the info transfer when I double clicked the file but it didn't get recieved at the G2. Both the computer and the G2 are both on the same midi channel. If someone could help me I would really be grateful. (In response to a reply)...I have a soundblaster 5.1 platium sound card with the live drive bay in the front with midi connections I connnect my G2 directly to the live drive via standard midi cables. (Thanks for your input) RE: REPLY #2 I have tried the adjustments you have recommended with no luck when I try to sent the .syx file back to the G2 I see the window come up that says" FILE PROGRESS" and the bar gragh shows movement but the file never gets acknowledged by the G2. Is it possible that they"re not compatible? Even the lexicon product specialist's could not do a successful dump from midi-ox to the G2. Do you have any other suggestions? Thank You |
