Delay in data maps of 6.7 beta4

Jamie, if I check the delay box in the data maps, that does provide a blue screen of my Win98 (heavy exception error). I've tried with several in- and output devices, everytime the same result. Uwe

Thanks for the report. Are you running Windows 98 SE or is it the original release?

That's it. Thanks Jamie, Beta 5 works fine for the delay I want. However it noticed to me now that I can't load any ("preset") Maps (mainly the transpose maps). In Beta 4 they are loading well. In addition I've tell to you that the delay doesn't work to the computer keyboard keys. If I check this item, I switch the keyboard mutely. Uwe

| What happens when you try to load maps? I'll look into the issue with the computer keyboard, a possible work-around is to use another MIDI-OX instance to play the computer keys and send them via MIDI Yoke to the instance that has the delay.

| Regarding the transpose maps all four boxes at the bottom of the translation map dialog are checked, but nothing appears in the input/output window . Another issue, the reverse keyboard map loads fine for me. Quote:use another MIDI-OX instance to play the computer keys and send them via MIDI Yoke to the instance that has the delay. |
| That works . BTW, how can I change keyboard keys since the german keyboard does have the z and the y keys exchanged? Uwe

I have verified that Keyboard Mapping does not work properly when delays are specified (no output occurs). To change the keyboard keys, look in the help file under Keyboard Configuration. I thought we used to write out the keyboard.ini, but it looks like it isn't done now -- I'll re-add that. Here is a template you can use: http://www.midiox.com/misc/KEYNOTE.INI
