Same thing with Windows XP SP3 32 bit. Also, loading a profile created with the previous version of Midi-OX will actually display the old customized ports names while loading a profile created with the beta version will cause the ports names to revert to their default Windows names.

I know this is an old thread but I just started using MIDI-OX Custom Names and came across this issue. Customized Port Names are not saved in the profile of Midi-Ox ver 7.0.2.372. I read in a forum post that this worked in version 7.0.0 and that loading a profile created with the previous version of Midi-OX will display the old customized ports names. If I save a profile from version 7.0 then copy/paste the [Custom In Names] & [Custom Out Names] sections into a profile I saved from version 7.0.2.372 it does in fact import the Custom Names. This is an acceptable workaround for ma albeit a bit of extra work. Is there a plan to release another version of MIDI-OX? It's a valuable program. I'm using it for personal use and have donated. Thanks for the great work!
