Title: Problems with Midi Yoke Install in Window 7
Post by Darko81 on Feb 18th, 2010, 9:15pm
First of all sorry for my bad english. I`m spanish.

I'm trying to use Midi Yoke with TouchOSC and Pure Data in order to work with Ableton Live 8. The bridge between TouchOSC and Pure Data works perfectly but when i try to send MIDI messages to Live through Midi Yoke, it doesn't work because Midi Yoke donīt create the virtual MIDI ports.
The installation was sucesfull (I disabled the UAC on W7) and I configured the MIDI input and MIDI output in Pure Data to Midi Joke Port 1 (input and output). In addition, I configured Ableton Live to recognize the ports. Can anybody help me please?

I insist, sorry for my bad english.

Never, ever, ever, attach a MIDI Yoke Input to an Output in a single application.  At best you'll get MIDI feedback.
