Ooops -- I turned off my MK-249 and made MIDI-OX fall over: (Normally this just works...) MIDIOX caused a general protection fault in module MIDIYOKE.DRV at 0001:0000079f. Yeah. USB is very thorny, particularly on Windows 98. I don't recommend hot-swapping devices while any MIDI applications are running (close the apps, turn on or off any USB devices, then relaunch).

I was thinking about this. I'm wrong - normally I tell MIDI OX to close the USB MIDI port before unplugging... I'll remember for next time. (Well, maybe I'll be inheritting my wife's P4 soon and Win98 will be quickly forgotten...)
