Create a "MidiOx/Ins/"  folder in your Documents directory and copy the file there. Open MidiOx then view the Instruments page and use the box on the bottom of the dialog to browse and select the the directory where the copy of the ini file is. I dislike the ways Windows thinks it owns my hardware. Microsoft wants to make sure everyone knows the OS is licensed and they are in charge.
