MidiOx - Open Source and into the community?

Dear Jamie, I noticed you are still checking the forums every couple of years. As a very heavy user of MidiOx, and seeing it has been made freeware since 2018, I was wondering if you would consider open sourcing the code to allow the community to take over it, help bring to 64bit and help keep it up to date with latest machines (and maybe who knows even port it to Mac!) Thanks in advance,

I would like to echo the sentiments expressed above. There is a community of users for each of your products, and all of them would like to see your vision and initiative continue, so may I suggest a way forward? From MidiOx to DesktopRestore you have provided capabilities that have enhanced the experience and capabilities of thousands, if not tens of thousands. The STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) clubs around the world have students capable of developing and extending your visionary products into the future. There is no barrier to prevent them becoming source of revenue via donations or small fees to use the enhanced versions. If there is a local school principal or a district Supervisor who have a STEM club under their purview, he/she would be a good place to start. If not, there is bound to be someone at https://nationalstemsociety.org/ who could assist. I do not know if any STEM clubs have a focus on supporting niche entrepreneurs who have established communities of users and want to see their innovations continue into the future, but there could be. Looking forward to discovering that there is a way forward for your products.
