A way to transfer patches to POD 2.0 ?!

Hello, is there any way to use my cheap USB-MIDI interface to transfer patches into my POD 2.0 ?! so far my interface works smooth with the midiox, it's all great, but I can't find a way to upload files on my POD, I even tried the YOKE driver, I spent lots of hrs on this and still no luck .. I feel a little dumb now lol I know that Line6 wants to sell their own interfaces, no problem with that, but I won't spend $50 for a thing that costs $0.50, is just not fair and I hate that. Any reply is much appreciated!

Hi First of all check that the POD indeed outputs sysex. On your Pod follow the manual on page 8.6 to download the presets. MidiOx should show blocks of data separated with lines that have SYSEX in it. Save the patches............. With MidiOx go to "View/Sysex" Then on the new window go to "Sysex/Receive Manual dump" As before, send your patches to MidiOx. MidiOx should show a byte count. When this stops save the file by cicking "Done" To send it back to the Pod........... Make sure the "MidiOx Event Port" is connected to the POD (Midi Port Routing window) "View/Sysex" to start the sysex window, as before. "File/Send Sysex File" select your POD file. All the best Royce
