Cannot define no. of MIDI ports under XP

Hello, I tried installing MIDI-Yoke under Windows XP professional. The installation process goes on fine with one exception, I am not able to set the number of ports installed. The default number is 8, but the area where the number resides in, does not seem to be editable. Any help on this one?

MIDI Yoke NT is fixed at 8 ports. In general, MIDI ports are not dynamically configurable under Windows NT, 2000, XP.

Update... I figured out a way to allow a configurable number of ports for MIDI Yoke NT. Get version 1.75: http://www.midiox.com/myoke.htm

So, just out of curiosity, how do you get to the configuration applet under Windows 7? MIDI-OX shows 8 virtual ports and that applet doesn't appear in the control panel in Windows 7 (for some stupid Micro$oft reason).
