Cubase SX 1 issue

I have found that since installing midi yoke on my windows XP system Cubase SX 1.06 takes approximately 30-60 seconds to shut down. This used to be almost instantaneous. Is this a common situation among users or could there be something more sinister afoot??

Slow Shutdown (Was: Cubase SX 1 issue)

I am running midi-ox on Win2k and noticed the shutdown is excruciatingly slow unless I stop it first.  I wanted to put midi-ox in the startup programs but then I would need a special batch file to shut down the PC (stopping midi-ox explicitly first).  Is there anything that can be easily done to make midi-ox shut down ("get killed") more readily when the OS is shutting down?
