Hi There,

I was wondering if it would be possible to publish the Midi Yoke source (just like it is for Midi-Ox)?

I have an ESI M8U which I would like to make it work multi-client, and I can do so with Midi-Yoke but have a bunch of manual steps I need to do each time I use it to make it work, which is a pain in the *.

I would be eternally grateful, and I'm sure others would be too if this would be possible.

Hi Marty

I don't own (or have access to ) the MidiYoke source. That is Jamie's.

There may be two solutions for you though.
Check out this page

where they are chatting about a Korg driver that may work for you.
The electronics site AdaFruit have a wireless Midi device that connects into the USB port and they adapted another Korg driver and when I did it it worked perfectly.

So adapting a Korg driver would be what I would do especially to get rid of a class compliant driver (unfortunately class compliant under MS is faulty with sysex being limited to 256 bytes) like ESI seems to be so proud of.

The second option is a program written by Tobias Erichsen that is similar to MidiYoke, but it is not loaded like a driver at boot time. You run that program first and then it appears in the Midi device list.

He does offer access to the source code.

This comment implies that the MIDI-OX source code is available? Does anyone know if that is true? If it is, from where can I obtain the code?
