Hi. I've been using fl studio for many years
I've been looking for a long time for a way to record midi notes into pattern performance mode. a long time ago I asked on the forum imagineline but found nothing.
thats woul be a great tool for live looping with a lot different patterns sizes. But unfortunately, we must program in advance midi notes into pattern.
Only 1 solution during record performance : mouse in the piano roll, it sucks of course -
isn't there a way with midiOx ? of course it is for record midi notes CC in the piano roll with my keyborard alesis qx61 during performance mode.
into mode performance it looks like midi CC disable, please help  Cry

Hi
MidiOx is for ...
looking at the Midi data to see messages are coming in.
sending the data coming in to one or more Midi outs.
merging multiple Midi data streams (mixing data streams) and sending the result out
filtering data and changing Midi messages to different Midi messages
there is a Midi file player as well

MidiOx is not a DAW or Midi recorder (although it will save / send system exclusive data and log the Midi messages to text)

For pattern recording and playing there is, of course,  Abelton Live.
Perhaps you have some gear that came with a Abelton Live Lite serial. It seems that you can grab the latest version with any free Live Lite serial.
If you don't have a serial for Live Lite, they are offering a demo version that works fully for 30 days, but it currently this has been extended for 90 days.

You could also search for "Midi pattern sequencer"
I use DuckDuckGoGo and it gave this among its results...
https://listoffreeware.com/free-midi-sequencer-software-windows/ that has some free things that might do the job.

Stay well

Sorry, I haven't used FL for many years, so I'm not of much help.

Hope you can solve the problem
